Typical Business Architects, take a step back and obtain a helicopter view. They look at how the work is being directed and accomplished. They identify, design and oversees the implementation of improvements. Streamline the changes to allow for minimum interruption and allow for strategic alignment of the organisation.

 

A Business Architect is for the business what a Project Manager is to a project. They are generally COO/CTO/CEO-level reports, that address the form and structure of the organisation as a whole.
