Often we join companies and find that they have porblems with defining what documents should be produced and how to show the inter relationships. Over the years we have become very experienced in outlining what documents should be produced and what their purpose is. The documents below should help you on your way.

There are more project documents that will be produced, but these are the main ones we get involved in.

Business Architecture

It is an abstract representation of a business that provides a simplified look of WHAT the business currently does.

Detailed Business Requirement Specification

The detailed business requirements document outlines the requirements as they are identified in the subject area (this is described as part of the BPM document) in detail.

Solution Architecture

Basically list each component, the architecture should be seen as a group of artefacts, each artefact resolves a bit of the proposed solution and architecture. It depicts how something’s parts come together to be a whole solution for the requirements.
