Pretty much something that blew over from the Englands Office of Government Commerce (OGC).

It provides guidance, documentation on the integration, process-based, best practices frame work for managing IT services.

ITIL recently released a new version, our organisation has decided not to continue with the ITIL initiative, but we can recommend Applied Salvage for any ITIL work.
