Unified Modeling Language (UML)

Unified Modeling Language (UML), we do not claim we know it all. However, UML (and BPMN) is the passion of our consultants, our key strength is with the UML Use Cases, full-dress descriptions, and Activity diagrams. We align them with your UML and BPM capability.

After the modeling is completed, we continue to define the classes (data models, and objects), sequence diagrams and communication diagrams. We can deliver the whole range of diagrams.

How we do it?

UML is often seen as a tech-thing, it is actually originated from that type of environment. After several years of intense training and usage of the UML, we have found that we pretty much use it for all business, databases and architecture related modeling.

The key issue is to use the language as a language, it can have different dialects, and as such you can adjust it to whatever environment you work in, as long you keep the semantics consistent.

People claim "knowing" UML only a few are on a "Lawyer" level.
We do not stop with the "pretty picture" we then use case, the picture is generally seen as a bonus, we find that the detail is more important.

The don't ?

We are not using VISIO as a tool of choice for UML modeling, any modeling actually. VISIO is a nice picture drawing tool, but you do not use Notepad for writing letters.

Using VISIO sits in the same category as using notepad for documents. It is a waste of time really.
