Unified Modeling Language (UML)

Unified Modeling Language (UML), we do not claim we know it all, however UML is the passion of our consultants, our key strength is with the UML Use Cases, full dress descriptions and Activity diagrams.

After that is completed we either continue to define the classes (data models, and objects), sequence diagrams and communication diagrams. We can deliver the whole range of diagrams.

--- We are business focused, but bridge the gap between ICT and business ---

How we do it?

UML is often seen as a tech-thing, it is actually originated from that type of environment, but after several years of intense training and usage of the UML we have found that we can pretty much use it for all business, database and architecture related modeling. The key issue is to use the language as a language, it can have different dialects, and as such you can adjust it to what ever environment you work in, as long you keep the semantics consistent.

A lot of people claim they "know" UML but not many are on a "Lawyer" level, we are.

We do not stop with the "pretty picture" we describe the use case, the picture is generally seen as a bonus, the detail is important.

The don't ?

Using VISIO as tool of choice for UML modeling, any modeling actually. VISIO is a nice picture drawing tool, but you do not use Notepad for writing letters. Using VISIO sits in the same category as using notepad for documents. It is a waste of time really.
